“You Look Great Today.” I Know.

thehappycorp is a quirky company that has a handful of fun projects, and the latest to launch is a site called YouLookGreatToday.com. I don’t think there’s anything to the site other than the purpose of spreading happiness.

Everyone loves getting a thumbs up from time to time, and you’ll note that all the photos on YouLookGreatToday features a paper version of the universal sign of approval. The way in which the photos are taken means it’s hard for me to describe exactly how these paper thumbs up are incorporated into photos, but here’s the gist:

Order a pack of these paper thumbs, and go take some photos of things that are deserving of them.

Upload them to YouLookGreatToday and inspire some happy infestations.

Each image acts as its own mini blog entry, with Tumblr-like simplicity.

You can even vote on each image (in a positive way). Say what you liked about the person in the photo–their hair, soul, savant-ness, etc. This voting is achieved by selecting one of four icons available. You’ll see them once you mouse over a given image.

It’s a fun little site, even if it’s not a social network or remotely integrated into a social network. So enjoy it for what it is. Contribute, even, if you’d like. It’s Friday.
