Elite Tech News #6: Where are My Pants?
It’s Monday afternoon, so that means it’s Elite Tech News time. On this episode we rounded up the week’s news, again, as filtered by the Reddit / L33t filter. This week it was me as moderator, as well as Jason Kaneshiro from Webomatica, Steven Hodson of WinExtra, Art Lindsey from artlindsey.com and Frederic Lardinois from lastpodcast.net. Our special guest panelist this week was Sean P. Aune, blogger here at Mashable.
This one amused us quite a bit while we were making it - we’ll be curious if it amuses you just as much. In the process we discovered the status of my pants as well as the questionable technical expertise of Egyptian jailers.
We also got around to talking about Twitter’s personnel and uptime stories, and whether Border Agents Can Search Laptops Without Cause, Appeals Court Rules. We also got around to talking about Microsoft’s Mesh, and exactly what that was about as well as the brief update on the status of the Microhoo deal.
Bitchmemes weren’t up to our usual standards of excellence, but we threw in the closest things we could find, which were Seesmic and Mike.
